Booth sharing is strictly prohibited. Each author must register and occupy  their own booth. If authors are found occupying shared booths, each author may be asked to discontinue booth sales and will not be invited back to the Minnesota Black Authors Expo.

Publishing companies please inquire about exhibitor registration prior to registering.

The MBAE is curated by volunteers and board members, so your patience is greatly appreciated. We are happy to forward author opportunities and testimonials to our community of authors and emerging authors.  Thank you!

"Reading is how we discover new things and how we develop a positive self-image. Reading is important because it helps to expand the mind, develop the imagination," and shape destiny.   - One Literacy Foundation

The Minnesota Black Authors Expo supports authors, students, and families. We intentionally connect communities, educators, and children to literature written by authors of color. Our work is necessary to improve educational outcomes and to create much needed momentum. Since 2017 we have successfully done this by bringing groups together who have historically not been able to find each other. The Minnesota Black Authors Expo strategically creates spaces for literature and culture to be promoted and celebrated.
